Download and install the D-Link Wi-Fi app on your Android OS/Apple iOS device.

Launch the D-Link Wi-Fi application and press Install New Device.

Scan the QR Code.

Connect the two antennas to its corresponding connectors on the router.

Power off the modem.

Connect the Ethernet cable from the internet port of the router and the other end to the
modem.

Power on the modem.

Power on the router.

When the Wi-Fi LED turns to solid white, then tap NEXT.

Select your internet service provider.
Note: Select Others if you are connecting the DIR-X5460 to an existing router.

Tap NO if you selected Others, tap YES if you selected your internet service provider
then enter the username and password from your internet service provider.

Create your own Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password then tap NEXT.

Create your own admin password then tap NEXT.

Select Keep my device up to date automatically then tap NEXT.

Tap SAVE to apply the settings.

If you would like to link your router to Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa, then
tap Register (Optional). Or tap Not Now.
