# DIR-X1860-How to change web Admin Password via Web GUI

Launch a browser and enter <http://dlinkrouter.local./> or <http://192.168.0.1> then press\
enter

Enter your administrator password. If you have not changed the default password, leave\
this field blank.

### Click Login

On the web admin page, hover your mouse cursor over **Management** and then\
click **System Admin**.

To change the Administrator password, enter a new password in the Password field and\
then click Save.
