# DIR-X1860-How do I set up Parental Control via Web GUI

Log into your router. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the router into the\
address bar. The default IP is <http://192.168.0.1> or click here <http://dlinkrouter.local./>

Enter your administrator password. If you have not changed the default password, leave\
this field blank.

### Click Login.

### Under Home tab, click on Connected Clients

### Click the Pencil Tool for the desired device you want to set Parental Control with

### Edit the Rule according to your preference

-Vendor: Displays the vendor of the client

-MAC Address: Displays the MAC address of the client

-IP Address: Displays the current IP address of the client

-Reserve IP: Enable to reserve an IP address for the client. (Should be the same with what it gets from the router)

-Parental Control: Enable Parental Control for the client to specify whether it is allowed network access.

-Schedule: Use the drop-down menu to select

### Click Save when you are done
