# DIR-X1860-How do I reset my router to factory default settings on its Web GUI

**Note: Factory resetting the router will erase all changes you made to the router.**\
**Internet/Wireless Settings will need to be reconfigured.**

**To perform a factory reset, please follow these steps:**

Launch a browser and enter <http://dlinkrouter.local./> or <http://192.168.0.1> then press\
enter

Enter your administrator password. If you have not changed the default password, leave\
this field blank.

### Click Login

On the web admin page, hover your mouse cursor over **Management** and then\
click **System Admin**
