How do I configure SharePort Web Access on my router?

Note: If using a D-Link Mobile router, SharePort Mobile is only compatible in Router and Wifi-Hotspot Mode

Note: In this example we are using the DIR-506L, however, these instructions can be used on any D-Link router that supports SharePort Mobile

Router Configuration

Log into your router:

Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your router or enter http://dlinkrouter in the address bar. By default the IP address is 192.168.0.1

The default username is admin and there is no password

Click on the Setup Tab and click Storage on the left side

Check Enable SharePort Web Access and make note of the HTTP Access Port. This Port will be needed to access the SharePort Web Application. By default the port is 8181

Click Save Settings

Open a new web browser and enter the IP address of your router:HTTP Access Port

e.g. http://192.168.0.1:8181

Note: if accessing from the Internet, you need to enter the routers WAN IP : Port e.g. http://24.12.134.125:8181
