How to set the D-Link DIR-612 as Repeater mode
D-Link DIR-612 Wireless Repeater Mode extends the coverage of an existing Wi-Fi network by receiving and retransmitting the signal to reach areas with weak or no connection.

Connect your PC to the DIR-612 router using an ethernet cable.
Access the router’s web interface by entering its IP address into a web browser on the address bar http://192.168.0.1 then press enter.

The page will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username and the default password are:
Username: Admin
Password: (as printed on the device label bottom of the router)
Note: If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to reset the router to factory defaults.
Once logged in, Click Internet at the top of the page, and then select My Internet Connection is: from the menu on the middle
Under My Internet Connection is, choose Wifi extender mode.

You need to key in the Wireless Network Password of the Main wireless network here and click on Confirm

DIR-612 will reboot for 50sec once you click on connect. Log in to the admin page again by the IP getting from main router once reboot done, it will show Connected Successfully, you are now successfully setup the repeater mode for your DIR-612.
