# How to Connect DCS-8526LH to a Wi-Fi Network Using mydlink App

**Feature Description**

If you need to change your camera’s Wi-Fi connection—whether because you have changed your internet provider, bought a new router, or updated your Wi-Fi name or password causing the camera to go offline—you can follow these steps to switch the camera's Wi-Fi connection. However, note that this feature only works for specific models. For DCS-6XXXLH models, you will need to reset the camera to reconnect it to a new Wi-Fi network.

**Important Notes:**

* Ensure your phone or tablet has mobile data turned off and is connected to your new Wi-Fi network, which should be functioning properly.
* Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone or tablet you're using.
