How to Connect DCS-8526LH to a Wi-Fi Network Using mydlink App
Feature Description
If you need to change your camera’s Wi-Fi connection—whether because you have changed your internet provider, bought a new router, or updated your Wi-Fi name or password causing the camera to go offline—you can follow these steps to switch the camera's Wi-Fi connection. However, note that this feature only works for specific models. For DCS-6XXXLH models, you will need to reset the camera to reconnect it to a new Wi-Fi network.
Important Notes:
Ensure your phone or tablet has mobile data turned off and is connected to your new Wi-Fi network, which should be functioning properly.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone or tablet you're using.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone

Log in to Mydlink app, then tap the three horizontal lines (menu) in the top-left corner and select Device Settings.

Choose the camera you want to configure, then tap Wi-Fi


A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to reconnect to Wi-Fi. Tap Yes, and the app will display "Connecting...” wait a moment for it to load.


From the list, select the Wi-Fi network you want the camera to connect to. Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Confirm to proceed. (If you don’t see your Wi-Fi in the list, tap the Refresh button in the top-right corner to refresh the list, or try moving the camera closer to the Wi-Fi source.)

The app will show “Connecting... Please wait.” Once the connection is successful, tap OK. and the camera's LED light will turn green
You should now see the new Wi-Fi name under Device Settings. On the home screen, tap View on the camera to start streaming the live feed.
