How to configure Wi-Fi network name and Wi-Fi password on DWR-X2000

1

Connect your device (computer, smartphones, etc., to the router via wireless. Look for the default Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) printed on the label of the router. Select the network and enter the default Wi-Fi password (also found on the router label).

2

On a device connected to the router, open any browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox). Enter the router’s IP address: Type 192.168.0.1 in the browser’s address bar and press Enter.

3

To access the router's settings, enter the username and password. If you’ve previously changed the password, use the updated one. Otherwise, use the default username "admin" and the default password located on the label at the back of the router.

Note: If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to perform a hard reset on the router

4

Once logged in, go to the Settings tab, then select WLAN. In the sub-menu, click Basic WLAN Settings. Click Modify to set your new SSID Wi-Fi name and password, then click Apply to confirm the changes.
