# DWR-M930-MAC Filtering Setup on DWR-M930

Connect your PC or smartphone to the DWR-M930 router either via Wi-Fi or using an\
ethernet cable.

Access the router’s web interface by entering its IP address into a web browser on the\
address bar <http://192.168.0.1> then press enter.

The page will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default username\
and the default password are:

**Username**: admin\
**Password**: (as printed on the device label bottom of the router)\
\&#xNAN;*Note: If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to reset*\
*the router to factory defaults.*

### Once logged in, Click on ‘Features’, then ‘MAC filtering’ on the left side menu.

In the MAC filtering section, you’ll find an option to add devices to the MAC filter list\
either by selecting connected devices in the drop-down button or manually entering the\
MAC addresses.

For each device added to the MAC filter list, specify whether you want to allow (whitelist)\
or deny (blacklist) devices from accessing your network.

Choose **‘Whitelist”** if you want to permit the specified device to access the internet or\
choose **“Blacklist”** to block them from accessing the internet.

### After making changes, click save & apply.
