# How do I factory reset my DWR-BE7200G 5G Wi-Fi 7 Router to default settings

**Hard Reset Procedure:**

While the router is powered on, insert a pointed object (paper clip, pen tip, etc.) into the reset hole\
and press and hold for 5 seconds, waiting for 15 seconds till all indicators turn off, it will be\
automatically powered on in 3 seconds.

**Soft Reset Procedure:**

Connect an end device (smartphone, laptop, or computer) to the DWR-BE7200G either\
via Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Once connected, open a web browser and type in <https://192.168.0.1> on the address bar\
and hit enter.

### You will be prompted to enter the Username and Password to access the router’s settings.&#x20;

### Click Login to proceed.

Once logged in, navigate to **More** tab. On the left-hand menu, click **System**, then\
select **Backup/Reset**.

### Find the Factory Reset button in the main content area

A warning will appear: "This operation will restore the factory settings. Are you sure to\
continue?" Click **OK** to proceed.
