# How to configure the wireless network name and wireless password on DWR-U2100 via GUI and D-Link Mob

From the device you want to connect to (smartphones, laptops, or computers). Connect\
your DWR-U2100 to the Wi-Fi or USB type C cable

-The SSID will appear as D-Link2G-XXXX or D-Link5G-XXXX

-The default Wi-Fi password is printed on the label at the back of the device

Once connected, open a web browser and type in the URL bar <https://192.168.0.1> and hit\
enter.

### You will be prompted to enter the username and password to access the router’s settings

**Username**: admin

**Password**: (printed on the device label)

Once logged in, navigate to the **My Wi-Fi** tab, and then **Basic**. Under the 2.4G and 5G\
wireless fields, you can modify/create a new **SSID (Wireless name)** and **Password**\
**(Wireless password)** then hit **Save** to confirm the settings.

**D-Link Mobile Connect App**

Download and install the D-Link Mobile Connect app from your mobile device (App Store\
for iOS or Google Play Store for Android)

Ensure the DWR-U2100 is powered on. On your mobile device, go to **Wi-Fi Settings** and\
connect to its default Wi-Fi network

-The default SSID will appear as **D-Link2G-XXXX** or **D-Link5G-XXXX**

-Wi-Fi password is printed on the label at the back of the device.

### Once connected, launch the D-Link Mobile Connect App.

### Tap Wi-Fi Settings from the home screen

In the 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi Settings, you have the option to change both the network\
name and password for your Wi-Fi.

### After making the changes, press Confirm to save and apply.

Once you've configured the Wi-Fi settings, wait for the changes to take effect. The router\
may need a moment to update its settings.

### After the settings are applied, you can connect your devices to the newly configured Wi-Fi networks using the updated SSID and password.
